This is just a topic to state the fact that the PC is the best gameing device.

Heheh, I wish I had a PC, all I have is a mac, pretty bad for gaming... Every game on steam is for windows, only a few bad ones are for the mac, although I love killing floor and all the games by valve...

While this is true, I don't feel like spending over $900 just for a computer that could probably work with the new games and then have to spend even more money on the thing for new graphics cards and RAM and memory....I'd rather just spend the $250-300 one time and just deal with the not-as-good graphics

I agree on PC being the best gaming device, but it may be not the best solution for gamer's needs. You can get the best graphics out of it, it has the best control system, but it's alot more expensive and bigger. All depends on what you want or need.

I have to say though, being a true pc gamer at the bottom of my heart, PS3 graphics are pretty damn impressive.

But by far not as impressive as PC graphics could be.

Right now no one makes games that would even get to close to what the PC with high end equipment could possibly do, since pretty much everyone except Valve and Blizzard are focussing on console games and therefore tone down their graphics A LOT
