Difference between MW3 and MW2?
Okay, so I am not a big fan of CoD series, but I liked Modern Warfare 2, and when the third one came out, I was considering buying it. And, in fact, I still am, and I'd like to read your opinions. So, what are the main differencies and improvements against MW2 that would make it worthy purchase?

Re: Difference between MW3 and MW2?
I havent played MW3 but from what I have heard is that its basicly the same as MW2, just different maps.
However dont forget that the majority of the MW community is now playing MW3 so you shouldnt have trouble finding games

Well, the killstreaks are a bit different, some perks slgithly changed.
The maps are much smaller now making it easier to penetrate campers (<3, another eason why I play Domination)
I personally think mw3 and mw2 aren't too different, but still worth the investment by all means. The story mode picks off more or less where 2 ended ( to an extend).
What console/(pc) you getting it for? :P
If its Ps3 then look at my sig and add me ;)
Am already tagged up as PLG :D

Re: Difference between MW3 and MW2?
To be honest, MW3 is now second on my wanted list, with the first one being FF XIII-2. The changes from what I read are really minor, but nevermind. Still sounds like alot of fun.
^ this is so awesome. Campers are really annoying in FPS's.Rarity wrote:The maps are much smaller now making it easier to penetrate campers
I'd love to get it for PS3, but I don't have it. ;_; I chose x360 instead - I decided I'd rather play Fable and Gears of War (don't even have it) instead of Uncharted and Spyro. Not sure if it was the right choice now. So if I do get it, I still have to decide between X360 and PC, but from what I've seen, the PC servers have alot of hackers on them.Rarity wrote:What console/(pc) you getting it for? :P

As for the differences, it's just the guns, maps, and killstreaks. It's also the fact that theres a LOOOOOT more people playing MW3 then MW2 so finding games is a lot easier.

And what about the graphics? Are there any improvements?
Anyways, thanks for opinions. I hope I'll be able to get MW3 soon.

Awesome, us folks should set up a meet once you do
Graphics are better than MW2 I suppose but MW2 was good enough that you don't really notice it too much
Smaller maps are awesome and it's always fun to see campers get taken out (I mowed down 5 people staring out the same window today -they didn't even have a claymore protecting them!). Unfortunately less space does mean spawnkilling is a little more frequent than it should be. I have literally had a kill cam where a guy mows me down with a LMG, I respawn right in front of him, and he kills me again without even letting go of the trigger
Anyways, despite that sort of thing, it's great fun.

I agree, what console were you again Balsiefen?
Also, I haven't expereinced being spawnkilled yet. At least the spawning on PS3 is very nice(in domination which I mostly play). Good teams will eventually "spawn trap" you, which you'll just ahve to fight your way out of. But in my experience, most people I play with/against have no clue what "spawn-trapping" is which is why me, my cousin and his friends often win matches fairly simple :P

Re: Difference between MW3 and MW2?
I'm 360 for MW3 but I have a PC too. The spawnkilling is mostly accidental and it happens both ways- I've had people spawn right in front of me too and I've also spawned with my gun in someone's back. It tends to happen mostly when one of the teams spreads out too much so there are no safe spawn points left. Deliberate spawn trapping is kind of hard -at least in TDM.

Works like a charm in Domination since the'y will close to a flag/point they are holding. So if you control 2 flag let's say A and B, they will only spawn at C (unless you are capturing point c, as in being at their spawnpoint close to C). This way you keep them at C and can control the entries to A and B knowing that no-one will come from behind(which is a huge advantage).
That's why I play dominition, you earn alot of points(score) and you are able to get a huge amount of kills, my cousins highest amount of kills is 65(but he's a freak at the game :p).
